Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

FantaSign is a personal project, with no company set up behind it. The controller responsible for processing your data is Albert Ricart, the individual who develops and operates the app. For any question about your privacy or your data, you can write to contact@fantasign.com.

2. What data we collect

When you create an account we store your email, your manager name (nick) and your password (never in plain text, always encrypted/hashed). While you use the app we also store: your favourite club (if you choose one), the leagues you belong to and your position in them, your transfer predictions (player, destination club, price) and their outcome, your monthly challenge predictions, and the notifications generated for your account.

If you enable notifications, we also store your device's identifier (token) so we can send you push notifications, and your device's time zone so we can adjust when they reach you.

We do not collect payment data (the app has no purchases) or precise (GPS) location data.

3. What we use your data for

To create and manage your account, run the leagues and the monthly challenge (store and score your predictions), show you your ranking and your rivals', and send you in-app notifications about events that affect you (predictions resolved, signings by your favourite club, market opening/closing, new monthly challenges).

4. Legal basis and retention

We process your data because it is necessary to provide the service you requested when creating an account (performance of a usage agreement), and with your explicit consent when you accept this policy during registration.

We keep your data for as long as your account stays active. If you want us to delete it, write to support@fantasign.com and we will delete your account and associated data unless the law requires us to keep something for longer. See Delete account for the full process.

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) to deliver push notifications to your device, if you have them enabled: we pass it your device identifier and the notification content (never your password or payment data, since the app has none).

We also use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google) and Sentry to understand how the app is used (screens visited, key actions such as creating a league or making a prediction, and session data) and to diagnose crashes. This data does not include your password or the device advertising identifier, and is not used for advertising. You can turn off usage-data collection at any time in Settings → "Share anonymous usage data".

Apart from these services, we do not share your data with any other third party.

6. Your rights

You can request at any time to access your data, correct it, ask us to delete it, or request a copy of it, by writing to support@fantasign.com. We will respond as soon as possible. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Local storage on your device

FantaSign is an app, not a website, so it does not use cookies in the traditional sense. Instead, it stores on your device (the app's local storage) the session token to keep you signed in, a local copy of reference data (clubs, players, leagues) so the app runs faster, and the language you have chosen. None of this is shared with third parties, and it is deleted when you log out or uninstall the app.

This website (fantasign.com) sets no cookies and loads no analytics, no external fonts and no third-party scripts.

8. Minors

FantaSign is not directed at anyone under 13 years old. If you are younger than that, you must not create an account without your legal guardian's consent.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the version shown above will be updated and, where applicable, you may be asked to accept it again the next time you log in.
